Oak Class - Wellesley Woodland Trip (March 2019)
Oak Class walked down to the canal and the Wellesley Woodlands for their first school trip. Having just read 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt' in class, the children were keeping their eyes open to look for clues the bear had been down to the canal!
Amongst a week of rain and wind, the sun shone for a few hours whilst the children were busy spotting signs of spring. They explored the woodland, looking under logs and leaves to find creatures in their habitats. Oak Class showed fantastic manners; greeting members of the public and stepping aside to let walkers, runners and cyclists past.
