Beans & Mini Beasts
Since returning to school after the COVID 19 lock down the children have been enjoying being outside. Some of the children picked the broad beans that they had been busy growing from the school fruit and vegetable patch.
The patch which also includes gooseberries, strawberries, rhubarb and tomatoes was started for the first time this year with help from members of staff to show the children how easy it is to grow fruit and vegetables and they could also taste their first, very own crop!
As the beans were ready for picking the children noticed that there were mini beasts who were feeding off of the vegetables.
